<< The proposal submission deadline has been extended to 13th March 2020 >>
In September 2019 the EPSRC funded Digitally Enhanced Advanced Services (DEAS) NetworkPlus hosted a workshop where representatives from academia, industry and government came together to identify the DEAS research agenda within the transportation and mobility sectors. On the 16th January we will be hosting a commissioning workshop in London where we will officially launch the call for funding related to this agenda.
We are inviting researchers who are working within transportation and mobility to join us at the commissioning workshop to find out more about the funding opportunity and gain feedback on potential projects that they might put forward. Workshop participants can start to explore possible projects and propose potential solutions to the challenges that have been identified in the research agenda. Each pilot project requires an interdisciplinary team to work with the company who provided the data and must address both the technological and business components of at least one of the relevant research questions. We will have representatives from at least one potential company present. You can also bring representatives from companies who you have already identified as a project partner. At the end of the event groups can pitch their proposed project for funding to the DEAS Network Plus Leadership Team.
